A woman stabbed her neighbor in the social area of Fiainsa, Santa Maria da Feira.
It was yet another disagreement between two neighbors who had frequently quarreled for over twenty years.
The two women, both 60, returned late Saturday afternoon arguing over what ended up being the worst of the arguments between them.
In the heat of an argument, one of them approached her bag, took out a kitchen knife and stabbed the neighbor several times. He stabbed her in the arm and stomach.
The victim was taken to the San Sebastian Hospital in Santa Maria da Feira. She had surgery, but it was not life-threatening.
As for the attacker, she was detained by the PNP, and in the meantime the case was transferred to the Porto Judicial Police, since the military considered it an attempted murder.
