The note is accompanied by a video of Marcelo Rebelo de Souza and Luis Montenegro together at the Belem Palace for their weekly meeting, each at a computer accessing the address www.votoantecipado.pt.
The head of state says today is “the first day of registration for early voting in the European elections” and asks voters wishing to register “not to put off until tomorrow what they can do today.”
“The Prime Minister and I are here at the Belém Palace showing you how easy it is to do it. Some people can do it by mobile phone, it’s faster,” adds Marcelo Rebelo de Souza, who then gives the floor to the First Minister to explain how to register online.
Luis Montenegro says that “it’s very simple: all you need is your civil identification number and date of birth.

Both the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister have already announced that they will register in advance to vote in the European Parliament elections, which are scheduled for June 9.
Early mobile voting on Sunday, June 2 is open to all registered voters nationwide at the polling station of their choice. You can register from today through Thursday.
