A 2-month-old baby suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon in a collision between two cars and a tractor at the fair. In the same accident, two people were seriously injured and two others received minor injuries.
At around 19:00, São João da Madeira firefighters were alerted to a traffic accident on Rua Joaquim Alves Moreira in Mileiros de Poiares. Arrifana firefighters and Feira’s ambulance and critical care crew were also called to the scene.
The PNR has been mobilized and is investigating the causes of the accident. The child was taken to the Sant Joan hospital in Porto. The remaining victims were taken to Feira Hospital.
