The shutdown, announced by the Portuguese Union of Nurses (SEP) at CHUA, began at 08:00 and continues until 00:00, covering the morning and afternoon shifts, with union leader Sonia López telling Luza that “at the Hospital de Portimão, the commitment is 80%” , while in “Faro, where all the data has not yet been collected, it will be about 70%”.
CHUA also operates hospitals in Lagos and basic emergency services in Vila Real de Santo António, Lole and Albufeira, where there is “100% attendance”, emphasized Sonia Lopez of SEP Algarve, specifying that this is the case. in Albufeira.
