Two security guards in their 50s and a driver suffered minor injuries Tuesday night when a patrol car collided with another vehicle.
The 48-year-old man disobeyed orders to stop and tried to escape from security guards in Gondomar.
At around 11:30 p.m., Rio Tinto firefighters were alerted to a traffic accident on Rua Padre Joaquim da Neves in Rio Tinto.
The Gondomar corporation and the ambulance and intensive care team from the São João Hospital in Porto were also called to the scene.
The driver, after treatment at the hospital, was arrested and taken to the State Police Department to complete the investigation.
