The platform bringing together the trade unions and associations of the PSP and GNR sent a letter this Wednesday to the Ministry of the Interior asking for a further meeting to make another attempt to approve the addition to the mission.
Following the fourth round of negotiations last week, a representative of the Platform said that an agreement was impossible. Remember that Minister Margarida Blasco did not exceed the €300 risk premium (€200 immediately, with two €50 payments in 2025 and 2026) in addition to the €100 fixed risk subsidy component that PSPs and GNR.
The platform responded with an offer of 400 euros (300 euros immediately and two payments of 50 euros in 2025 and 2026), which was rejected by the trusteeship.
The platform now asks for another meeting, a fifth, “so that the principle of equality enshrined in the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic is respected.” The proposal to be put to the meeting is 400 euros, with an initial cost of 200 euros, plus two further payments of 100 euros in 2025 and 2016.
Only the PSP Union of Professionals and the National Police Union excluded themselves from this request.
The new assembly must now be approved by Minister Margarida Blasco, who, after breaking the agreement reached last week, said she would pass laws without consensus with the structures of trade unions and associations.
