The Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth (CPYC) left the seven-year-old girl in the care of her paternal uncle, whom prosecutors recently accused of 360 rapes. According to NewspaperThe bullying continued for almost two years, and the minor was able to reveal the situation only when she returned to her mother. After the child broke his silence, the case began to be investigated.
Due to serious family problems, in 2018, KPC Felgueiras decided that the child should live with his uncle. He was lonely, but de facto lived in a relationship with a woman and seemed to be able to provide the girl with a stable life.
According to the prosecution, “from Monday to Friday” the accused entered the victim’s room early in the morning while everyone was sleeping to touch her body and undress her.
The sex attacker, prosecutors allege, used physical force to rape his niece, and at the end of the first assault, he told her she had to remain silent if she did not want to suffer the consequences. The threats continued for two years while the victim lived with the defendant. Despite the crimes causing pain, disgust and vomiting, the minor was unable to report her uncle. During the sexual assault, he even received an injury to his intimate area, but he never complained.
It was in 2020 that the girl began to have the opportunity to spend the night at her mother’s house on weekends. A month after he began living under this regime, he told his mother everything, and the case began to be investigated.
The prosecutor’s office recorded 165 sexual crimes in 2018, 170 in 2019 and 25 in 2020. JN asked Felgueiras CCPJ, who said he could not comment on the proceedings.
