A truck carrying cereals collided with a trailer on the A11 motorway towards Guimarães-Felgueiras and eventually left the highway, going down an embankment until it came to rest on Rua D. Armindo Lopes Coelho, in Regilda, Felgueiras municipality.
The trailer was also off the road, but on an embankment. The alarm was received at 10:59. The Felgueiras Fire Department was called to the scene with an ambulance and a recovery vehicle.
According to Felgueiras Fire Chief Julio Pereira, there are no reported casualties. The hardest job now is to remove the vehicle from the closed street.
The causes of the collision, which resulted in the accident of vehicles, are being investigated by the State Road Investigation Department, which is on site. Members of the highway concessionaire ASCENDI are also present on the territory.
