Luis Montenegro mourned the sinking of a fishing boat this Wednesday between the beach of São Pedro Moel and Praia da Vieira in the municipality of Marinha Grande. The tragedy claimed the lives of three fishermen.
“The Prime Minister of Portugal deeply regrets the sinking of the fishing boat between the beach of São Pedro Moel and Praia da Vieira in the municipality of Marinha Grande, which occurred this morning, and the loss of life that resulted. Luis Montenegro expresses his condolences to the families of the victims in this hour of grief. The Prime Minister also commends the prompt and full commitment of the rescue services to search and rescue the crew.”
On board There were 17 fishermen on board the Virgem Dolorosa.
