The government has asked the General Inspectorate of Medical Activities (IGAS) to carry out a technical audit of the response indicators of the National Institute of Medical Emergencies (INEM), the Minister of Health announced this Wednesday.
Ana Paula Martins, who is being heard by the parliamentary committee on health, answered questions from MPs about whether she already has the results of the administrative audit opened for INEM.
“We think it is reasonable, reasonable and necessary, first of all, to add a technical audit, that is, a group of technical experts who could also look at the outcome indicators, namely, inoperability, response time indicators with delays, even in the conditions of transportation to the hospital.”
