Christina Sandera, the 94-year-old girlfriend of actor and director Clint Eastwood, died Thursday at age 61. The cause has not been determined.
“Christina was a kind, caring woman and I will miss her greatly,” Clint said in a statement quoted by the Hollywood Reporter.
The Million Dollar Baby star had been in a relationship with Christina since 2014. According to the Daily Mail, Christina Sandera and Clint Eastwood met when she was working as a secretary at a hotel restaurant in California, USA.
Despite the age difference, the romance quickly blossomed. They were last seen in public in 2019.
Christina Sandera was married to a man for 11 months, but the former couple had a turbulent relationship that resulted in the woman being arrested for domestic violence and alcohol problems.
Christina was Clint Eastwood’s third wife.
