A 25-year-old secretary and a 60-year-old doorman were arrested by the PSP in the Pastelleira Nova area of Porto for drug trafficking. Agents seized a large consignment of cocaine, almost seven thousand euros in banknotes and two machines for counting money.
The PSP found the youngest suspect running drugs on the street in the area early yesterday morning, and when they approached him, he fled to the second man’s home. When agents of the Rapid Response and Inspection Company of the 2nd Department of the PSP entered the house, the suspect was already burning part of the drug and the money that he managed to collect.
However, PSP seized 1,878 doses of cocaine, 6,912 euros in banknotes, two money counting machines, a baton, pepper spray and two mobile phones. The detainees will be present at the first interrogation.
In addition to these two detainees, the PSP arrested four other people for drug trafficking on Monday in Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia and Ermesinda.
