On Tuesday, the judicial police raided the premises of the Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (IAPMEI) in Lisbon. cm.
IAPMEI is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, and the organic structure consists of seven directorates and twenty-eight departments.
The body’s mission is to “promote the competitiveness and growth of business, provide support for the development, implementation and evaluation of policies aimed at industrial activity, aimed at strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship and business investment in companies that operate in areas under supervision. The Ministries of Economy and Navigation, namely small and medium-sized companies, with the exception of the tourism sector and control powers in this area, vested in the General Directorate of Economic Activities.
IAPMEI is led by Luis Pratas Guerreiro.
