Joao Felix left Atletico Madrid’s training centre on Sunday with a suitcase. Footage taken by CMTV in the Spanish capital today shows the Portugal international getting into a car after being greeted by two of the club’s security guards.
Felix has returned to Atletico Madrid’s training ground to train separately, which he has done since reporting to the club after returning from holiday this week.
Atletico Madrid had a day off after the friendly against Numancia this Saturday, which ended in a 1-1 draw and for which the Portuguese was not called up.
After finishing his loan at Barcelona, Joao Felix still doesn’t know which club he will represent this season. Possible destinations for the striker include Benfica and Aston Villa. The 24-year-old is not in Diego Simeone’s plans and Atletico Madrid are set to make his move permanent.
