Five men were arrested by the PSP at 5:50am this Thursday on suspicion of involvement in the shooting of security guards at the Lust in Rio nightclub in Lisbon.
Having recorded the shots, which did not cause any casualties, the PSP deployed several forces to the scene. The patrol found a car on Rua da Cintura in Porto de Lisbon that matched the description given by witnesses to the shooting and was made from a vehicle.
During the search of the passengers, two pistols of .38 and 6.35 mm caliber were found. Agents also confirmed the presence of two shell casings with exploded ammunition in the car.
Five men were immediately detained and the weapons found were confiscated.
