Daniela Campos finished 41st in the Olympic long-distance cycling race.

Portuguese cyclist Daniela Campos finished 41st in the long-distance race, while North American Kristen Faulkner became the Olympic long-distance champion on Sunday, crossing the finish line alone at Paris 2024.

At 22, Daniela Campos, who finished 41st, 07.53 minutes behind the winner, became the second Portuguese woman to compete in the Olympic long-distance runner, succeeding Ana Barros, who finished 23rd in Atlanta 1996.

At 31, making her Olympic debut, Faulkner won gold, finishing the 158-kilometre course from and to Trocadero in 03:59.23, beating the two main favourites, Dutchwoman Marianne Vos and Belgian Lotte Kopecky, who were second and third, respectively, by 58 seconds.
