A fire at the Somerset House arts centre in London, next to the River Thames, is being fought this Saturday by 100 firefighters supported by 15 vehicles, the cause of the fire is currently unknown, the publication reports. London Fire Brigade, quoted in CNN.
The fire was confirmed by London Fire Brigade through its social media account “X” after a netizen posted a photo expressing “a bit of concern” about the amount of smoke coming out of the building, the company reported, Spanish news agency EFE.
Firefighters sent two 32-metre ladders to the scene to support the firefighting effort and said traffic in the area would be delayed while efforts to extinguish the blaze continued.
