A collision between two cars this Monday morning resulted in three minor injuries on Estrada Nacional 121, at the Ambilal intersection, in the municipality of Santiago do Cacem.
One of the victims was trapped and was rescued by a VSAT team from the Alvalade Fire Station.
Three victims, all with minor injuries, were taken to the emergency room of the Litoral Alentejuno Hospital, two by the Alvalade Fire Department and one by the Santiago do Cacem Fire Department.
The alarm was raised at 5:52 a.m. and rescue operations were carried out by the Alvalade Fire Department with 3 vehicles and 9 responders, the Santiago do Cacem Fire Department with 1 vehicle and 2 responders and the VMER of the Litoral Alentejuno Hospital.
Representatives of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate were at the scene of the incident, regulating traffic, and will investigate the causes of the incident.
