On Thursday, four men beat a 26-year-old man, forcing him to hand over the Mercedes he was driving on a Porto street.
The crime took place at 7:18 a.m. on Rua de Campo Alegre. The driver and owner of the stolen car was accompanied by his 23-year-old woman when he was surrounded and attacked by the gang.
Both victims noticed the robbers stop a blue Mercedes E220 next to the couple’s car and quickly open the driver’s door.
The robbers, who appeared to be in their 30s or 40s, hit the driver very hard in the face. The pair quickly left the car, leaving the four attackers to escape in both vehicles.
Despite his injuries, the driver did not require hospitalization. The PSP is investigating the crime.
