The National Unit of the Judicial Police for Combating Drug Trafficking (UNCTE) has seized 6.5 tons of cocaine with an estimated value of 65 million euros. Three men have been arrested and several luxury cars have been confiscated. UNCTE/PJ will hold a press conference this Friday at 11am to provide more details on the operation in Tartar.

On Wednesday, inspectors seized 3.6 tons of the cargo from a warehouse in the center of the country. The drug arrived two days earlier in a container of soy flour.
The operation is linked to another in June in which 2,952 kilograms were seized. Three of the men were taken to court.
