Singer Lady Gaga has been sued for not yet paying a $500,000 reward (about €475,000) promised to a woman who returned two bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, who were kidnapped in 2021. Animal caretaker Ryan Fisher was the target of the kidnapping.
The woman who delivered the dogs, Jeninfer McBride, accused the artist of cheating, saying that she promised something, “not really going to keep it.” In court, the woman is now asking for the amount of the award to be tripled because not receiving the money caused her “pain, suffering and suffering,” according to news site TMZ.
After the return of Koji and Gustav, singer Jennifer McBride was accused of participating in animal kidnapping and trying to kill Ryan Fisher. He was sentenced to two years of probation. The shooter was sentenced to 21 years and 22 months in prison.
The crime dates back to February 24, 2021, when 41-year-old Ryan Fisher was shot and killed while walking the American singer’s three dogs on Sunset Boulevard in the US. Surveillance cameras captured the moment. “Oh my God! I’ve been shot! Help me! I’m bleeding from my chest!” the victim said after being hit, and two of the three dogs were stolen.
