British officials expect more than a million people to pay their respects to Elizabeth II at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Giles at Buckingham Palace in London, where Her Majesty’s body will arrive on Tuesday, and at Westminster Hall, where it will be incinerated for four days from Wednesday. However, more than two million people are expected to walk the streets of the capital in the coming days, which will force increased security measures.
The Queen’s funeral will take place on Monday 19th and will be attended by Marcelo Rebelo de Souza. The President of the Republic announced this Sunday that he will “go to England next Sunday”, representing Britain’s oldest ally.
