A woman is responsible for the shooting that killed six people, including children, at a US school

At least three children and three adults were killed in a shooting this Monday at St. Paul’s Christian School in Nashville, USA. According to the British TV channel sky newsthe perpetrator of the shooting is a 28-year-old woman, a former student at the school, who fled and was later shot dead by police.

According to the agency Reutersthe reasons for the shooting are not yet known, but the suspect drew detailed maps of the school, including building entry points, and left behind a “manifesto” and other written notes that investigators are examining, the Nashville Police Chief revealed.

The same source said the woman’s name was Audrey Elizabeth Hale and she was from the Nashville area. He used feminine pronouns to identify her, but said in response to reporters’ questions that she “identified as a transgender”.

Nashville firefighters have warned the public via a tweet that they are responding to the arrival of the “aggressor” at the Convenant School, 33 Burton Hills Blvd Blvd. “We can confirm that we have several victims,” the publication reports.

There was no official word on a possible motive for the gun violence, which took place on a warm, sunny spring morning shortly after the start of classes at Pakto School, whose students are mostly middle-aged children.
