Angel Footman, 23, an elementary school teacher in Florida, USA, was arrested by US authorities this Friday for allowing students to fight. New York Post. According to reports, the teacher told the students not to record fights and not to draw attention by shouting.
Several sixth graders alerted principals at Griffin Elementary School in Tallahassee, Florida after Angel Footman gave permission to turn the classroom into a boxing ring.
The students also showed several videos taken at the end of March, in which the teacher sits at her desk and the students attack each other. “30 seconds, no screaming, no noise, no cell phones,” says the teacher in the pictures.
In accordance with new york Post, the teacher denied that she organized the fights, but confirmed that she did not report them to the student council.
Angel Footman has been charged with four counts of aiding juvenile delinquency. The trial is expected to begin in May.
