Police in the US state of Minnesota (north) on Friday evening agreed to extradite an armed man after blocking roads near the Mall of America shopping complex.
The man is in police custody and traffic has resumed around American Boulevard and 24th Avenue, the Bloomington Police Department announced on social media.
The woman called the police at around 4:00 pm local time (10:00 pm Lisbon), reporting that the man in the white truck was armed in the car park.
An area near the Mall of America in Bloomington, in the US state of Minnesota (north), was cordoned off Friday as authorities negotiated with a man believed to be in possession of a gun.
Officers were in talks to extradite a suspect who is “allegedly in possession of a firearm,” the Bloomington Police Department wrote on Twitter.
The suspect’s age has not been released.
