Brazilian President Lula da Silva said this Saturday in an interview with RTP when asked about his position on the war in Ukraine that Brazil does not have an ambiguous position and that he condemns Russia for invading Ukrainian territorial space.
“We need to convince them that war is not the way to solve problems between Ukraine and Russia,” he adds.
Regarding the existing famine in Brazil, Lula da Silva guarantees that the country’s problem is that “the budget is poorly allocated”, referring to the fact that in 2003, when he was also president, inflation in Brazil fell from 12% to 4, 5%. . The Brazilian president also acknowledges that the solution is to have more jobs, health care and education.
Lula da Silva is in Portugal on a five-day official visit.
