The Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve (CHUA) responded this Sunday to technicians from INEM in Lagos after they protested against the technical assistance facilities: a basement of about six square meters where there is no air exchange. CHUA states that “site conditions are assessed by occupational health and PPCIRA. [Programa de Prevenção e Controlo de Infeções e de Resistência aos Antimicrobianos]”.
The INEM Immediate Life Support Ambulance Base has been installed in the laundry basement at Terras D. Infante Hospital in Lagos since the 15th of the cleanup “with no associated biological risk”.
The CHUA statement also says that it was the professionals who “choosed to place the bunk bed indoors along with the chairs/beds already there, as well as desks and chairs, while still keeping the refrigerator and microwave in violation of hygiene rules. who advocate that you cannot eat in a place where you relax / work, having a cup for this.
The hospital center also mentions that the communication network is operated by INEM.
