Around 300,000 students and more are expected in Queimodromo, Porto, from this Saturday evening until the 13th, when the Largo Amor de Perdisao in Cordoaria serves as the stage for a traditional serenade. This year, the Associação Académica do Porto hopes to surpass the 2022 “commemorative” edition.
Queima brings together over 50 artists across three stages and eight parties. But there is more. On Sunday morning there is a pasta blessing mass and in the evening the choirs meet in Sa da Bandeira while Slow J, T-Rex and Papillon head to Queimodromo. Monday is Charity Day and Chico da Tina will perform that evening.
Tuesday is the day of the parade, which will be attended by 400,000 students and will take place through several streets in the center of Porto. Kim Barreiros and Rozinha will perform tonight. Wednesday is Tuna Festival, Wet Bed Gang and Dillaz. On Thursday there are Caretus and MS Pedrinho. Friday will be Calema, Two Door Cinema Club and Da Chic night. On the last night, on the 13th, there will be Revenge of the 2000’s with Luke from 4 Taste, TT, Luciana Abreu and Mundo Secreto.
