Eight people were injured during the shelling of Russian troops in the Kherson region

Eight people were injured, including a nine-year-old child, in a Russian bomb blast on Monday in Kherson in southern Ukraine. Information provided Reuters to which the authorities of the region refer.

Six wounded were registered in Stanislav on the right bank of the Dnieper, the report said. Head of the military administration of the Kherson province Alexander Prokudin. Two other wounded are registered in Antonovka on the outskirts of Kherson.

The Ukrainian military retook the city of Kherson last November, eight months after the Russian invasion began. Currently, the region is often subjected to artillery fire from Russian troops stationed on the opposite bank of the Dnieper.

Ukraine has been the target of several attacks this Monday, a victory day that marks the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.
