A note posted on the official Porto PGD page explains that after his arrest, the doctor on Wednesday attended the first judicial examination at the Porto Este Regional Judicial Court (Juízo de Instrução Criminal de Penafiel), which “considered the commission of two crimes of rape and two crimes of sexual coercion subject to severe accusation”.
It is also stated that the court ruled, as a measure of coercion, to remove the doctor from the performance of his functions related to medicine in any institution / public or private service, and also to prohibit him from contacting victims and witnesses “in any way or through interference.” Human”.
