Martin Scorsese’s latest film. Flower Moon Killersees the legendary director explore a new genre: the Western.
Based on the non-fiction book of the same name by David Grann, it describes a series of murders of members of the Osage tribe in Oklahoma in the 1920s, sparked by the discovery of oil.
The 206-minute epic marks Scorsese’s sixth feature film collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio and tenth with Robert De Niro, both starring.

When will it be released?
Flower Moon Killer The film will be released in the UK on October 20. The film will be available in IMAX theaters.
An unspecified streaming release on Apple TV is also planned.
What do critics think about it?
Flower Moon Killer received extremely positive reviews and has a score of 95 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
2011 film critic Christina Newland gave the film four stars and praised it as “a profound exploration of the human psyche, its ability to hide ugly moral contradictions and the rage of white people for not enjoying their own perceived superiority.”
Guard“Xan Brooks gave the film a full five stars.
He wrote: “Flower Moon Killer plays out as a powerful, black tragedy about how the West was truly conquered, rewriting Eden as barren grasslands where crude oil is the only fruit and blood on the ground sows the seeds of the future.

“Scorsese’s 26th feature runs smoothly, never gets boring and never fails to be interesting,” he wrote.
“It looks beautiful, features a lot of great performances, and tells a story that needed to be told, and told very well,” he wrote. “This is truly his best since The wolf of Wall Street. It may not be the kind of proposition one would find on such posters, but it is impressive nonetheless.”
