Bloc coordinator Katharina Martins announced on Tuesday that she will cease to be an MP at the end of the current legislative session, in an interview with Lusa agency on the eve of the BE congress, at which she will leave the party leadership.
In an interview with Lusa, which will be published in full on Friday, Katarina Mārtiņš believes that it “doesn’t make much sense” to remain in parliament “without being a coordinator yet.”
“I also understand that we have a number of dossiers, that the balance is not easy, and we decided that I will stay until the end of this legislative session, which means that as long as Pedro Filipe Soares is on the TAP commission of inquiry, I will be on the possible panel to review the constitution, but at the end of this legislative session, I will leave,” he said.
