This Monday, the governments of Angola and Portugal signed 13 bilateral cooperation agreements, mainly in the economic and financial fields, in a ceremony presided over by Angolan head of state João Lourenço and Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa.
The most important agreements on the Portuguese side were signed by Finance Ministers Fernando Medina and Foreign Minister Joao Gomes Cravinho, respectively: euro; and Program of Strategic Cooperation (PEC) for 2023/2027.
The agreements concerned the agreement between the ports of Sines and the Algarve and the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento da Barra do Dande, as well as, among other things, training and laboratory support for food safety, a memorandum providing for a criminal investigation in this area.
Agência Lusa has signed a training protocol with the Angolan Center for Journalism Training.
In statements to journalists, the Portuguese Prime Minister said 13 agreements had been reached as Caixa Geral de Depósitos closed three funding contracts in recent days.
