Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Tuesday that Russia’s “destruction” of the Kakhovka Dam on the Dnieper is a war crime and could become the “biggest man-made disaster” in recent decades in Europe.
“Russia destroyed the Kakhovka dam, causing probably the biggest man-made disaster in Europe in recent decades, endangering the lives of thousands of civilians. This is a terrible war crime,” Kuleba said in a message broadcast via a social network. Twitter.
“The only way to stop Russia, the “greatest terrorist of the 21st century,” is to expel (Russian forces) from Ukraine,” the head of Ukrainian diplomacy added.
Ukraine has condemned Russia as a “terrorist state” at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). “The actions of Russia are the actions of a terrorist state, an aggressor,” said Anton Korynevych, Ukraine’s representative in the MC, quoted by the French news agency AFP.
