A 16-year-old American boy confessed to the murder of a girl through the social network Instagram, in Pennsylvania, United States of America.
The police told the American TV channel ABCNews, the young man sent a video via a social network to a friend in which he confessed to what had happened, then turned the camera and showed footage of a body lying on the ground covered in blood. The boy even asked his girlfriend to help him get rid of the body, but she ended up contacting the authorities.
After the applicant gave the police the young man’s address, the agents went to the scene and found the victim’s body, apparently shot dead, in the house. The identity of the same is not disclosed, but the police confirmed that it is a minor.
The suspect, Joshua Cooper, fled through the back of the house but was eventually apprehended by police and will stand trial for murder.
ABCNews tried to confirm the incident on Instagram, but the platform refused to answer any questions.
