Minister of Territorial Unity Ana Abruñosa will take part in the celebration of Portugal Day in Luanda on Monday and will sign a protocol during the visit, among other things, the institutionalization of the Forum of Territorial Unity.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Territorial Administration of Angola (MAT), the protocol includes training activities, institutional cooperation, as well as follow-up and monitoring of the process of administrative decentralization.
It is also planned to exchange experience in the implementation of economic and social cohesion programs, as well as to determine the state policy of territorial development and promotion of local development.
The protocol also includes actions aimed at programs that guarantee the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of territories, reduce local asymmetries and develop the territory and improve internal affairs.
The Minister is expected to discuss with the Minister of Territorial Administration, Dionisiou da Fonseca, issues such as strengthening mutual political coherence and strengthening cooperative relations in order to strengthen the strategic partnership in the field of territorial unity.
In the afternoon, Ana Abruñosa participates in the Portuguese School in Luanda in celebration of the Day of Portugal, Camões and Portuguese Communities with a concert by fado singer Ana Moura.
