“There is a point here that the government has not yet clarified, what are the reasons for the resignation of Diogo Aires de Campos, why the resignation of a person who participated in several projects, who was in charge of several monitoring committees and who, from one moment to another, he is fired,” said President of the Liberal Initiative Rui Rocha to journalists in Batalha (Leiria).
Citing that “the reason for this resignation is to be contrary to a certain vision that the government may have”, Rui Rocha emphasized: “We are not in a country where dismissal for the crime of opinion is acceptable.”
“If this is so, then this worries us very much, especially at a time when other voices are heard saying that there are instructions from the ministry itself.
