The father and son accuse Almada’s PSP of unjustified assault and kidnapping them last weekend. Two men will be present before the judge.
Events were to start after Carlao’s concert, at the São João celebration in Almada. The man claims that he entered the backstage of the artist at 20:10 with the permission of the security guard.
“I saw that the person I was going to meet was not there. I calmly walked out and was hit. [os agentes da PSP] to the grate and knocked him to the ground,” he says.
At that moment, the father of the victim tried to help her, but he was also beaten. “He [o pai] has a disability. PSP attacked a disabled person,” he condemns.
After that, the police put the man in a van and took him to the police station. “I was abducted without a mobile phone from 20:20 to 3:00,” he adds.
The man says he demanded to be seen at the hospital and that’s why he was taken to Garcia de Orta. In the medical unit, he was examined by a doctor, who, according to him, confirmed the “brutal attacks”.
The victim says that he was not informed of the reason for the detention of the PSP, and specifies that, apart from the fact that he never had problems with the police, he never saw these agents.
The man, who will speak to a lawyer before filing a complaint, believes the police attacked him to become the “party bomb”.
