A 20-year-old young man was arrested yesterday in Nine, Vila Nova de Famalicán, by the GNR Criminal Investigation Center (NIC) in Barcelos with 2920 doses of hashish and another 200 doses of cannabis. During the police operation, 1,200 euros and a top class car were seized.
A young man who lives in Ninth Parish was under investigation for about three months on suspicion of drug trafficking. Yesterday NIC GNR executed two search warrants, one at the suspect’s home and one at the suspect’s car, and ended up detaining a man with thousands of doses of drugs and various materials used to cut and package drugs. in addition to the money the authorities suspect he received from drug sales.
He is detained at the GNR post in Barcelos to be present tomorrow at the first judicial examination in the court of Vila Nova de Famalicán for the use of coercive measures.
