This Sunday morning, 5,000 Air Force soldiers were to be treated by the Air Force’s health services after suffering from symptoms of food poisoning during the Air Force’s 71st anniversary ceremonies in Braganca.
As he explained cm the official source of the department, the origin of the ailment (diarrhea and vomiting) is being clarified, since all 500 military personnel participating in the ceremonies were accommodated in several hotels. “Health delegates from Braganca and Vila Real monitored the situation and collected samples from various places where the military was eating or drinking liquids,” he added.
None of the military had to resort to civilian health services, as they were treated in the health care system set up by the Air Force for the event. Among the injured are cadets, privates and sergeants of the Air Force Academy.
Despite unforeseen circumstances, the military ceremony took place.
