Two men between the ages of 40 and 70 were injured this Wednesday evening in a car accident in Melres, in the town of Espiunca, Aroca. Two of the victims were reported to have suffered minor injuries.
As found out morning Post with volunteer firefighters from Aroca, after skidding, the car fell into a ravine about 40 meters high. According to the same source, the steep slope made it difficult to rescue and help the victims.
14 operators and four vehicles from the Aroca Volunteer Fire Brigade and the Aroca Ambulance Brigade were mobilized to the scene. The Santa Maria da Feira ambulance and resuscitation vehicle was also initially involved, but it was eventually demobilized due to the severity of the injured. GNR was also activated and took care of the incident.
