Portugal lost 2-1 to South Korea led by Paulo Bento this Friday in the match to qualify for the 3rd round of Group H of the 2022 World Cup.
The corner team included Diogo Costa, Diogo Dalot, António Silva, Pepe, Joao Cancelo, Ruben Neves, Matheus Nunez, Vitinha, João Mario, Ricardo Horta and Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite the defeat, the national team took first place in Group H and will play in the 1/8 finals.
Thus, the South Koreans jumped into second place thanks to Uruguay’s 2-0 victory over Ghana, recorded by a double by Georgiana De Arrascaet in the 26th and 32nd minutes.
In the rankings, Portugal had six points, against four for South Korea and Uruguay, with the advantage of Asians in goals scored (4-4 against 2-2), and three for Ghana.
