Citizens of CPLP or G20 countries will be exempted from paying a business or tourist visa for up to 30 days when traveling to Angola, said Minister of State and Economic Minister José de Lima Massano.
This measure is part of a package of legislative acts aimed at stimulating and developing the economy, which was presented today following the results of the 5th meeting of the Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers.
The Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) has nine member states: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Portugal, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor.
The G20 consists of 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States of America). America) and the European Union.
José de Lima Massano also announced export support measures such as the Unified Export Support Service and Land Access with a one-stop shop for land cession that will facilitate land access and proper registration.
According to the minister, “there are several entities that interfere in the export process, not always with the necessary coherence, which in some cases leads to a loss of space for product placement on the national market, setting the path for economic diversification.” and generation of exchange resources”.
With regard to commercial activities, prior authorization is no longer required for activities that do not require a commercial license, it is enough to inform the municipal authorities about this.
The Angolan minister stressed that the executive branch wants the measures to come into force as soon as possible, without postponing but with a limit before the end of the year.
