Fifty-five people have been arrested in the last 24 hours, between 00:00 and 23:59 this Sunday, as part of several PSP police operations.
Among the arrests, 14 were for driving under the influence of alcohol, 13 for driving without a legal licence, 15 for drug dealing, one for disobedience, one for resisting and coercing an employee, one for possession of a prohibited weapon, five for crimes against property, one for sexual harassment, and three for an arrest warrant.
According to the PSP statement, 374 cannabis, 14 cocaine, eight heroin and brass knuckles were seized following the arrests.
During this period, 31 traffic accidents were also registered, as a result of which nine people received minor injuries.
