According to the IPMA meteorological warning, the yellow warning for the islands of the eastern group of the archipelago (Sao Miguel and Santa Maria) will be in effect from 18:00 local time (19:00 in Lisbon) this Wednesday and 12:00 local time. : 00 pm (13:00 in Lisbon) Thursday – fair.
During this period, forecasts indicate “precipitation, sometimes heavy, which may be accompanied by thunderstorms,” the institute said in a statement.
A Yellow Alert is issued by IPMA whenever a risk situation arises for certain weather dependent activities.
