Russian Company Announces $600 Million Arms Contracts

Rosoboronexport, a Russian arms exporter, announced this Thursday that it had already signed contracts worth $600 million (€550 million) at the Army 2023 fair, which runs on the outskirts of Moscow until Sunday.

“We have signed several export contracts worth about $600 million,” said Rosoboronexport CEO Alexander Mizheev, quoted by the company’s press service.

Mizheev added that at the fair it was clear that Rosoboronexport’s customers were showing “great interest in industrial partnership projects.”

“Agreements have been reached on joint production of weapons on the territories of customers [automáticas] Kalashnikov, armored vehicles, guided missiles, as well as the installation of Russian combat modules of various calibers on the chassis of partners,” Mikheev said.

According to the exporter, customers also showed particular interest in the MiG-35, Su-35, Su-34 and other combat aircraft, in addition to the “unmanned” models (unmanned aerial vehicles) Orion-E, Orlan-10-A and Orlan-30.
