The President of the Republic this Monday unveiled the government’s Teacher Training Diploma, the wording of which was changed after Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa vetoed the first version.
“In view of the discovery, including in this legislation, contained in the latest editions of diplomas, regarding the issue of calculating the length of service, the President of the Republic promulgated a government decree establishing a special regime for streamlining the asymmetry in the career growth of kindergarten teachers and teachers of primary and secondary education in state preschool institutions education and primary and secondary education,” Belen Palace said.
The same note, posted on the website of the Presidium, states that the President of the Republic also promulgated a “Governmental letter defining a special measure to accelerate the career growth of workers in public labor relations.”
