The SDP today requested the Minister of Territorial Unity to hold urgent parliamentary hearings to clarify support for municipalities affected by recent storms before the closing of the Assembly of the Republic during the Christmas period.
The Social Democrats are also asking for an urgent extraordinary meeting of the Commission for Public Administration, Spatial Planning and Local Authorities to vote on this request for a hearing from Minister Ana Abruños.
“Early in the morning and yesterday morning the whole country was on high alert due to the high rainfall last week,” the Social Democrats say.
