On Tuesday, a 66-year-old tour operator was arrested for stealing bags at Lisbon airport.
The last victim reported that he returned from the trip, having gone to the arrivals hall and talked with his family members. When he was about to leave the airport and go home, he discovered that his suitcase had been stolen.
The PSP identified the 66-year-old suspect, already known to this authority as a tour operator and usually employed at Lisbon Airport, who has already been identified, for a similar offence.
After he was charged with theft, he explained that, as usual, he went to this airport to transport a client. He noticed the piece of luggage, collected it and took it to his home, where he kept it. Ready to start shipping.
The seized goods have been handed over to the rightful owner.
