A CMTV The victory was won by RTP1, ahead of the State TV channel 1 in terms of the average daily share.
This is a historic mark in television consumption in Portugal: the cable station outperforms the universal channels.
TV morning Post Sunday’s average daily share was 6.57%, corresponding to 162,940 viewers every minute of the day.
Behind CMTV RTP1 appears with 6.55%, i.e. 162,370 viewers every minute of the day.
CMTV’s direct competitors lagged far behind the lead station’s audience, with CNN gaining a 1.9% average daily share and SIC Notícias trailing even further at 1.7%.
CMTV airs on Channel 8 on all cable platforms, but is not yet available on DTT.
